If you have decided to follow Jesus, water baptism is the next step! As an outward declaration of the decision you have made to surrender your heart to Jesus, it’s a significant moment that will serve as a reminder that the old is gone. God has saved you and will be faithful to continue what He has started in your life. Here at HopeCity, we find great joy in celebrating alongside believers who are deciding to be baptized!
When is the next Baptism service?
Once the next date for Baptism service is set, a staff member will contact all those registered!
Can I meet with a Pastor first?
Absolutely! If you have questions regarding baptism, please reach out! Our pastors are happy to talk through any questions of concerns you may have, and share with you what the Bible says about baptism!
Can I register my child for Baptism?
Yes! All children and youth are required to meet with a member of the HopeCity Staff before baptism. We take this time to chat, pray with, and help ensure they understand the incredibly exciting decision they are making.
If your child or youth (typically ages 10-16) believes they are ready to make this decision, please register them! We will reach out shortly afterwards to arrange a meeting with the child and parent.
We wish to partner with everyone regardless of age as they decide to get baptized. We believe as demonstrated in scripture, baptism is a decision a Christian must make themselves. Children and youth are invited to make this decision on their own as they reach an age of understanding.
